I secretly ran away from Tumblr because I was sooo busy preparing for my wedding and on March 13, 2011… HJ and I got married! :D Best thing that has happened to me ever!
so… I’m BACK! I was sooo busy preparing for our wedding and honeymoon and then work piled up and blah blah blah. Sorry everyone that was waiting for an update! My plan at first was to make a wedding post ON the day of my wedding, but everything was just so chaotic that there were many things that I had to prioritize before updating hj-story.com. Hope everyone understands! And HJ-story.com will be now be a neverending story! (until the day I die at least haha)

I was watching a harmony fanvid and someone posted a very rude comment, saying that we can’t see that they are just best friends, they don’t love each other the way we want. So, what do you mean? That the person who will spend the rest of your life with you has to be what? YOUR ENEMY? This is fucking ridiculous, give me another argument. People need to stop separating “friendship” and “love”, there’s no love without friendship, one complements and strengthens the other. Hell yes I want the person that I married be my best friend, because when all the lust and your beautiful skin disappears, what remains is the admiration, the memories, the respect and the trust. I’m quoting Scully, but what she said is totally true, i mean, all the best relationships are founded, built through friendship, and are those that last. So, I’m very proud that Harry and Hermione are best friends, because this is just another proof that they were meant for each other, and just because they’re best friends doesn’t mean they are unable to feel something beyond friendship.
PREACH! Friendship isn’t always a foundation for love, but it definately needs to be the foundation for marriage! Being friends is an asset to ANY relationship. Heck, doesn’t being friends with your parents help you get along better with them, because it means you can talk to them in a way that doesn’t involve being lectured all the time? Unfortunately that’s all I see with Ron & Hermione. Sure, Hermione lectures Harry too, but they’re BFF’s, which means that there is also comfort, sympathy, mutual respect and understanding, and security between the two of them. The argument that their status as “best friends” prevents them from having a romantic relationship is the most illogical argument I have ever heard. In fact, it contradicts family studies which have clearly shown that effective communication (i.e. being able to converse with your partner in a civilized manner) is crucial for a successful marriage. As BFF’s Harry and Hermione have mastered that very important aspect.
